Sean Benton

Art

Sean Benton is an artist and university art teacher working in Nova Scotia, CA.  Sean holds a diploma in Visual and Creative Arts from Sheridan College, a Bachelor of Art (Studio Art) from Brock University, and a Master of Education from the University of Ottawa.

Sean paints in an expressive realist style.  His images replicate realism with an emphasis on the elements of art and design. Sean hopes viewers experience familiarity depicted in new ways.  His secondary practice is playing and writing music on guitar.

Music

Sean has played guitar in bands of different genres. Originally a metal guitarist, Sean currently practices Celtic and Nordic-inspired instrumental music.
